Day 8, Mantiwoc to Green Bay

The ride was lovely into Green Bay. We took County Road R, more or less the whole way. As we crossed the bridge, we saw a sign about pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles, but it went by too fast to change it.

When we left, the wind was still against us.

There were moments of traffic.

But, for the most part, the views were stunning and the roads quiet.

It's always fun around us!

We found a cat on the way; this made Annie very homesick. It made Mark hungry, just like everything else. It was a fun, relaxing day, only 40 miles, and into an interesting town. Pickups are large and loud. Bars are small, identical, and oddly named.

Happy Mother's day!

================================================

OK, a confession.

One of our many legions of fans noticed that I'm wearing the same jacket every day. What really happened is that we took a bunch of pictures one weekend, then went off on a cruise, where we make up bike stories and post them here.
